Recently, Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley shared that they would like to receive the championship ring if the Los Angeles Lakers manage to win the championship. A wish that will be granted if the Los Angeles franchise achieves such success.
As reported by the journalist Bleacher ReportChris Haynes, the management of the Lakers has decided that it will offer a champion’s ring to all the players who have made the Angelina roster at some point during the current season, which would include both players.
Westbrook finished the season with the Los Angeles Clippers after being traded by the Lakers at the market close and later cut by the Utah Jazz. For his part, Beverley finished the course in Chicago, where he ended up after being cut by the Orlando Magic.
The Lakers are currently one win away from the Conference Finals after beating the reigning NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors, in Game 4 of the series. If the Los Angeles franchise finally decides to give its former players a ring, Damian Jones, Juan Toscano-Anderson and Kendrick Nunn could also receive theirs.
