The Cahrlotte Hornets have had one of the most austere summers in recent memory for teams that need a clear step forward. This coupled with the absence of Miles Bridges due to legal issues and the loss of LaMelo for the start of the season leads them to occupy the penultimate place in the Eastern Conference giving a poor image. In North Carolina they surely think that competing already for next year. And as a consequence, several teams have set their most valuable players as targets in the transfer market.
Sean Deveney of heavy.com, reveals that Terry Rozier, Mason Plumlee and Gordon Hayward are the top three players attracting the most interest throughout the league. There are already several franchises that have asked about one of the three. Namely Knicks, Heat, Mavericks, Suns and Lakers. The Los Angeles franchise was already in advanced talks with the Hornets in a transfer that would have involved Russell Westbrook. For now there is no firm offer, but it is possible to expect the gradual appearance of him as the season progresses.
