The Los Angeles Angels squared off against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday night looking to even up their three-game series after a tough loss in the series opener.
The Angels had the perfect man for the job on the mound, as it was two-way star Shohei Ohtani’s night to pitch.
Ohtani has been locked in as of late and he continued his trend of dominance on Tuesday against the Nationals.
The right-hander and free-agent-to-be gave the Halos seven scoreless innings.
He walked five batters, but he allowed just one hit and struck out six, earning the win as the Halos defeated the Nats by a final score of 2-0 to even the series.
On Twitter, MLB posted a video featuring Ohtani’s best moments from Tuesday.

Ohtani also set an Angels franchise record with his dominant start on Tuesday.
It was his 10th consecutive start in which he allowed two runs or less.
Los Angeles held on and improved to 6-5 on the season, remaining just one game back of the Texas Rangers in the American League West.
Texas leads the division and won their game against the Kansas City Royals.
But the Angels needed a strong performance after Monday’s tough loss.
Ohtani gave them just that and helped get the team back above the .500 mark.
The two-way star’s dominance has been well documented, and he continued his trend on Tuesday.
The Halos will look for a series victory on Wednesday as they send right-hander Griffin Canning to the mound against the Nationals.
