The New York Yankees are expected to contend for a World Series every year.
Last season, the Yankees made it to the ALCS but got swept by the Houston Astros.
The Yankees had an eventful offseason as they had to try and re-sign Aaron Judge.
They were able to do that by agreeing to a massive nine-year contract with their captain.
Now, the pressure of winning a World Series is on the shoulders of Judge.
He is coming off one of the best seasons in MLB history, and his encore performance will be exciting.
In a recent interview, Judge stated how winning a World Series is something he visualizes.

New York will once again be a contender in 2023.
They improved their pitching staff by adding Carlos Rodon.
Plus, the Yankees front office has never been shy of adding players during the season.
Now that Judge is in New York for nine more seasons, he is expected to lead his team to the World Series.
Anything short of that would be a major disappointment.
Getting to the Fall Classic will be no easy task.
The Yankees will have to go through the Astros, who have won three of the last four AL pennants.
It will be interesting to see what Judge can do for an encore in 2023.
His expectations will be sky-high, and his new contract only adds pressure.
But, Judge should once again be great in 2023 as he tries to carry the Yankees to the World Series.
