2023 may be a year in which many milestones are achieved by players who have been around the game for quite some time.
On the pitching side, there are several MLB stars who are chasing some important milestones.
Last season, we saw Aaron Judge break the single-season home run record in the American League, while Albert Pujols reached 700 career home runs.
However, there is even more on the table this season.
MLB Network made a list of pitchers who are chasing some key milestones in 2023 and posted a graphic on Twitter featuring these pitchers and the milestones they are about to reach.

Zack Greinke needs only 118 more strikeouts to reach 3,000 for his career.
There are two closers who are closing in on 400 career saves.
Boston Red Sox right-hander Kenley Jansen needs nine saves this season to reach 400, while Philadelphia Phillies righty Craig Kimbrel needs just six.
Justin Verlander signed with the New York Mets and is entering the season just six wins shy of 250 for his career.
Two more veteran starters are chasing the 200-win mark.
Clayton Kershaw and Adam Wainwright have both been around a long time.
Kershaw came up in 2008 and is three wins away from reaching 200 for his career.
Wainwright, who closed out the 2006 World Series for the St. Louis Cardinals, got to 195 wins last year, but a bad September cost him a chance to reach 200.
Just five wins this year will do the job.
These pitchers have all been around a while and have seen a lot, and new milestones may be in their future.
