Tommy Fury may not be as good a fighter as his half-brother, but he’s still a pretty good boxer.
Tyson Fury’s lesser-known relative proved it again by putting an end to Jake Paul’s questionable unbeaten streak, taking his record to 9-0 since leaving boxing to star on reality TV.
Notably, this was the first time that Paul actually faced a fighter, so it didn’t come as much of a surprise to see that Tommy beat him in a split-decision eight-round bout.
Fury earned the ultimate bragging rights among social media stars in the ring, and he tried to put the rest of the boxing industry on notice with a blunt statement about his future:
“I’m only going to go stronger. I’m going to go bigger. I’m only going to go better,” Fury said.

Of course, beating a 26-year-old YouTuber with six ‘professional’ fights under his belt is far from impressive, let alone something to brag about in front of other actual boxers.
But Tommy Fury has the physical tools to make some noise in the industry, provided he takes boxing seriously again and decides to pursue a career in this beautiful sport, for real this time.
As for Jake Paul, his days of claiming he would become a world champion were as short-lived and comical as expected.
He can now get back to his social media platforms and make millions off it, all while taking boxing as a hobby.
These PPV fights tried to put the last nail in this noble sport’s coffin.
But it was just a matter of time before those guys got exposed and someone put an end to their charade.
