The World Baseball Classic is fast approaching.

Late on Tuesday night, the fun will begin.

Some of the top MLB stars have joined forces with their respective countries and will now go to battle and see who has the best team.

For Puerto Rico, two star shortstops will be teaming up as they hope to bring a title back to Puerto Rico and unseat Team USA, who won in 2017 when the Classic was last played.

On Twitter, the official page of the World Baseball Classic tweeted a video of Francisco Lindor and Javier Baez practicing a double play drill in the infield.

Baez and Lindor are two of the most dynamic players in all of baseball and now will team up in hopes of bringing a WBC title back to Puerto Rico.

The two of them practicing this double play drill and doing so flawlessly is a sign that baseball is truly back.

Two of the game’s most exciting young stars are set to join forces and compete in the WBC.

The WBC was put on hold in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but is now back for the first time since 2017.

But the way Lindor fielded this ball is quite impressive.

He made a nice throw to Baez at second base, who quickly made a fine throw of his own to first base.

The baseball world is certainly excited to see the return of the WBC, as well as the reunion of these two star infielders, which will take place soon.
