Team USA announced its roster for the 2023 World Baseball Classic a few weeks ago.
The event, organized by MLB, will represent an opportunity for the USA to defend the title they won in the 2017 edition, the last one played.
To do that, they are sending a star-studded roster to the event, one that includes multiple MVP winners such as Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, Paul Goldschmidt, and more.
Several teams have contributed some of their best players to the American squad.
Here is a graph with every MLB organization who has sent at least one player to the national team.

The New York Mets are represented by infielders Pete Alonso and Jeff McNeil, not to mention relievers Adam Ottavino and Brooks Raley.
Other stars such as Edwin Diaz and Francisco Lindor will play for other national teams.
The St. Louis Cardinals are sending lots of players, too.
Besides Lars Nootbaar (Japan), Genesis Cabrera (Dominican Republic), and Tommy Edman (South Korea), four of their players will be representing the United States: Goldschmidt, Nolan Arenado, Adam Wainwright, and Miles Mikolas.
The Chicago White Sox are sending three major leaguers to Team USA: Tim Anderson, Lance Lynn, and Kendall Graveman.
That’s the same number of Philadelphia Phillies that will be in uniform for the United States: Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, and JT Realmuto.
As far as position players go, the United States have the most impressive collection of talent available for the Classic.
The pitchers are good, but not great.
However, in spite of that, they have what it takes to win it all once again.
