With MLB teams hitting the free agent market, there is a lot of curiosity around where players will go.
Sometimes, the best option for them is to stay where they are.
Here is a look at two free agents that should re-sign with their team this offseason.
2.Andrew Benintendi
The New York Yankees acquired Andrew Benintendi at the trade deadline this season and he entered a lineup with a number of big bats around him.
Now, the left fielder is entering a free agency looking for a new home.
However, it would be wise for him to try and stay in New York.
Not only does it make sense for the Yankees to bring him back, but it also gives Benintendi a chance to play on the big stage.
After being traded to the Kansas City Royals, Benintendi was forced to play out of the limelight.
This had to be downgraded after playing with the Boston Red Sox and competing for a World Series.

The Yankees give him exactly that, and it would be wise for him to return to the Bronx.
1. Justin Verlander
Verlander is coming off arguably the best season of his career at 39 years old.
He posted an 18-4 record with a 1.75 ERA, earning his third career Cy Young Award.
He also took home his second career World Series title, and cemented his place in Cooperstown.

Now, as he enters free agency, the best choice is to stay in Houston.
They have a team built to compete for another World Series next season.
Verlander can stay at the top of that rotation, and have another good shot at a World Series ring.
This would allow him to not start back from scratch with a new organization.
Staying would be the best option for him.
